1. Quotes & Validity

All quotes provided by Ark Woodcraft are estimates based on the information available at the time of quoting. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing may change after this period due to material costs, availability, or scope changes.

2. Scope of Work

The quote covers only the work, materials, and services specifically described. Any changes, additions, or omissions requested after the quote is accepted may result in a revised price and timeline.

3. Acceptance of Quote

Acceptance of a quote may be made in writing, by email, or by payment of a deposit.

Acceptance confirms agreement to these Terms & Conditions.

4. Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable deposit (50% total cost) is required before work begins, unlessotherwise agreed.

The remaining balance is due upon completion unless stated otherwise in writing.

5. Materials & Natural Characteristics

Ark Woodcraft works primarily with natural wood products. Variations in grain, color, knots, texture, and movement are inherent to wood and are not considered defects. Minor variations from samples, drawings, or photos are normal and expected.

6. Lead Times & Scheduling

Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to material availability, supplier delays, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. Ark Woodcraft will communicate any significant changes to the schedule.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

Providing accurate measurements, access, and site conditions

Ensuring spaces are ready for delivery or installation

Obtaining any required permits or approvals unless otherwise agreed

Ark Woodcraft is not responsible for delays or issues caused by inaccurate information or site conditions.

8. Cancellations

If the client cancels after work has begun, the deposit is forfeited.

The client may also be responsible for any materials purchased or work completed up to the cancellation date.

9. Ownership of Designs

All designs, drawings, and concepts provided by Ark Woodcraft remain the property of Ark Woodcraft unless otherwise agreed in writing and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Warranty & Liability

Ark Woodcraft warrants workmanship for one year from the date of completion under normal use. This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, or environmental conditions

Natural wood movement such as expansion, contraction, or minor cracking

Liability is limited to the value of the work performed.

11. Photography & Marketing

Ark Woodcraft reserves the right to photograph completed work for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the state of Washington.
